How to use Firefox Browser Extension?

This article will introduce you how to use the proxy through the 922S5Proxy Firefox browser extension tool. By using the browser plug-in, you can simplify the proxy usage process and set up and connect to the proxy for your Firefox browser more quickly!
Step 1: Download and install the Firefox browser plug-in from the official website
1. Download the installation package
2. Unzip the compressed file
3. Open Firefox browser to complete the installation settings
①Click on Manage Plugins
②Click the settings icon (Manage plug-in tool)
③Select Debug mode
④Choose to load temporary plug-ins
⑤Open the decompressed Firefox browser plug-in file and select the manifest.json file.
⑥After successful addition, click the plug-in icon in the upper right corner of the browser to open the 922S5Proxy Firefox browser extension tool.
Note: You can click the pin button to pin it to Toolbar for daily use.
Step 2: Add proxy
1. Select Add new proxy to enter the proxy management interface.
2. Click the "Add New Proxy" button and enter the proxy command.
922S5Proxy has three ways to extract the proxy:
①User&Pass Authentication ②IP Whitelist ③Desktop Application
Next, we will introduce to you the steps for using these three methods with browser extension tools.
Method 1: User&Pass Auth
(1) In Proxyname, you can fill in the remark name for your convenience.
(2) Generate proxies through User&Pass Auth.
Click to copy the proxy information, paste it in Hostname, and the rest of the information will be filled in automatically.
(3) Click the Save button to successfully add the proxy. Click the Connect button to connect to the proxy.
Note: When using the user&pass authentication method, if a pop-up window appears in the browser prompting you to fill in the user name and password, please copy the user name and password in the proxy information you generated and fill them in.
Example:
After the configuration is completed, enter the IP detection website (such as ipinfo.io) in the browser to check whether the IP has changed. If there is no change, please open a new window.
Method 2: IP whitelist
(1) In Proxyname, you can fill in the remark name for your convenience.
(2) After setting the proxy conditions, add the IP address of your current device to the IP whitelist of the 922S5 proxy.
(3) Click to copy hostname:port.
(4) Paste the host name and port in Host name. Note: The username and password can be left blank.
(5) After adding, click the connect button to connect to the proxy.
Method 3: Desktop Application
(1) In Proxyname, you can fill in the remark name for your convenience.

(2) Extract proxy from desktop application
Open the port forwarding list, copy IP:port and paste it into the browser's add proxy interface, and select the SOCKS5 protocol.
Example: 172.26.0.12:30000
(3) Finally click the Save button. Click the connect button to connect to the proxy.
Here we can see the extended proxy list of 922S5Proxy. Click the "Connect" button to display: "Connected" indicates that the proxy is started successfully. You can now use the proxy by opening a new browser window.
